Comments: Room with 2 double beds, nightstand, fan, and WC with coldwater shower, sit-down toilet, and sink. Bath towels and toilet paper are provided. Food is decent and equal in price to the cheaper tourist restaurants in the middle of town. The unpaid worker boys make their living chauffeuring guesthouse clients around the wats of Angkor. The standard motorbike fee is US$6 per person for 13 hours from sunrise to sunset to visit wats within a 10km distance from Siem Reap. Motorbike transport to more distant wats is extra. The guesthouse also rents bicycles for US$2 per day, but the heat between 11:00~16:00 discourages most people from attempting to cycle Angkor. Hidden down a dirt road, this guesthouse is quiet and relaxing. |
